But I don't want someone to get HOSED because they didn't pick a tier 1 team. My focus (and my sales pitch to friends) is that we will all suck and that it will be hilarious and we should all embrace the ridiculous nature of this game and really delve into team names and colors etc. and I was going to advise everyone of that.īut what about the difference between tier 1 and 2? How noticeable do you think an advantage would a tier 1 have over a tier 2 for a bunch of entirely new coaches? I was probably just going to use nobility or black orcs as they come with the box. My biggest question is how concerned should I be about tiers? I was already aware that tier 3 teams. Then we could expand next season when we know what we're doing. But I thought for a simple first timer league, I would have everyone pick a team box and limit squad building to whatever comes in the box (for simplicity). I will have to read the rules once I get the game (because they seem rather hard to find online by design). I also have a few friends who would consider joining a league (pending a test play). I haven't played blood bowl (but been doing tons of research) and I am going to get the new starter box. TLDR: I want to pick up the 2020 starter box and get a 6 person league.
